We are looking forward as using this site as a tool to keep you the visitor informed about things happening at Valley Water Systems and our town.
We are regulated, privately owned water utility serving over 6600
customers in Plainville, Southington, and Farmington, Connecticut.
The roots of the company were established by charter of the State
General Assembly in 1884. In that year a reservoir was constructed
for $6500 and the water company's first water service was installed
soon after. During the intervening period, and some 6500 customers
between then and now, miles of water mains, hydrants, pump stations,
treatment plants, and storage tanks have been built.
Today our headquarters houses a staff equipped to handle virtually
every phase of activity expected of an investor owned water utility.

Valley Water Systems is excited to offer customers an easy and secure way to view, print and pay their water bills online. We support electronic presentment (viewing) and billing because it is more convenient for our customers and better for the environment.
Paying online with a credit card or electronic check saves time,
gives you the flexibility to pay how and when desired, saves
money (no more stamps, paper checks or envelopes) and Invoice
Cloud will store your information for future use - but only
if you choose to store it.

Stay tuned for incentives on making the switch to a paperless bill. In the past an iPod and a Westfarms Mall gift certificate have been awarded to prior contest winners.
Please consider a switch to paperless billing.
It will cut down on the amount of paper used to mail our bills.
You will also be able to view all of your prior bills

Our office hours are 8:00 am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. You are welcome to make a payment or stop by with any questions or concerns during these hours.
